Undergraduate Programs
3-year Bachelor's degrees at prestigious British universities
UK undergraduate degrees take just 3 years compared to 4 years in the US, Canada, or Australia. This saves Nepali students an entire year of tuition and living costs. British universities are known for their focused, specialized approach — you study your chosen subject from day one, without the general education requirements found in American universities. With over 150 universities offering thousands of programs, the UK provides world-class education across every discipline.

Application Process
We have streamlined the study abroad application process into clear, manageable steps. Our team guides you through each stage to maximize your chances of admission.
Research Programs & Universities
Identify programs in your subject of interest. UK undergraduate programs are subject-focused — you choose your major before applying. Use UCAS course search, university websites, and QS subject rankings. Consider: course content, university ranking in your subject, location, cost, and career prospects. We help you build a balanced list of 5 universities.
Apply Through UCAS
UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) is the centralized application system. You can apply to up to 5 universities with one application. Prepare: personal statement (one statement for all 5 choices — so choose related programs), predicted or actual grades, academic reference, and UCAS form. Application fee: £27.50 (one choice) or £29.50 (multiple). Main deadline: January 31 for September entry.
Receive Offers & Choose
Universities respond January-May. You may receive Conditional or Unconditional offers. After receiving all responses, you choose a Firm choice (first preference) and an Insurance choice (backup). If you meet your Firm offer conditions, that is where you go. The Insurance choice is a safety net if you narrowly miss your Firm conditions.
Meet Conditions & Get CAS
Submit final exam results to UCAS in August (for Nepali students, this means +2 results or equivalent). If conditions are met, the university confirms your place and issues a CAS number for your visa application.
Apply for Student Visa
Apply online with: CAS number, financial evidence (tuition for first year + £1,023-1,334/month for 9 months), passport, TB test certificate, IELTS scores, and biometric data. Pay visa fee (£490) and IHS (£776/year x 3 years). Processing: 3-4 weeks.
Prepare & Depart
Book accommodation (university halls recommended for first year — £100-200/week). Book flights. Arrange travel insurance. Attend pre-departure orientation. Arrive 1-2 weeks before term starts for orientation and settling in.
Costs & Scholarships
Understanding the financial commitment is crucial for planning your study abroad journey. Here is a breakdown of typical costs and available funding options.
Arts and humanities: £12,000-18,000/year. Business and social sciences: £14,000-22,000/year. Engineering and sciences: £16,000-28,000/year. Medicine: £25,000-40,000/year. Compared to 4 years in the US ($120,000-240,000) or Australia (A$120,000-200,000), the UK is often more affordable due to the shorter duration.
London: £1,200-1,700/month. Other cities: £800-1,200/month. University halls (first year): £100-200/week including bills. Private housing (shared): £350-600/month excluding bills. Food: £150-250/month. Transport: £30-150/month. Phone: £10-20/month. Total 3-year living cost: £27,600-45,000.
International Excellence Scholarships at many universities: £2,000-5,000/year tuition reduction. GREAT Scholarships: £10,000 for students from eligible countries. Some universities offer automatic fee reductions for high-achieving applicants. Bristol, Manchester, and Warwick have specific South Asian student scholarships. Means-tested bursaries available at some universities. The Aga Khan Foundation provides scholarships for students from developing countries studying in the UK.

Student Life
Studying abroad is about more than just academics. Here is what you can expect from life as an international student.
British undergraduate life is a unique experience. Unlike the US, you study one subject intensively from day one. Lectures, seminars, laboratory work, and independent study fill your academic week. The university system encourages critical thinking, debate, and independent inquiry — skills highly valued by global employers.
Outside academics, British universities have vibrant student unions with hundreds of societies — from sports clubs and debating societies to cultural associations and volunteer groups. Freshers' Week at the start of each year is a whirlwind of social events, society fairs, and orientation activities.
Living in the UK gives you access to one of the world's most diverse and culturally rich countries. Weekend trips to other British cities, Europe (via budget airlines or Eurostar), and cultural events are part of the student experience. The NHS provides free healthcare, and students benefit from discounts on transport, entertainment, and shopping through the NUS card.
